It uses your state's average residential tariff, typical sun hours and current PM Surya Ghar subsidy slabs. Treat the output as a strong estimate: your final quote depends on roof condition, panel brand and installer.
What subsidy will I get on a 3 kW system?
The central subsidy is Rs 78,000 for 3 kW and above (Rs 30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW plus Rs 18,000 for the third). Some states such as Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand add a state top-up over this.
Does the calculator include net metering?
