Running a comparison site costs money. Here is exactly where ours comes from, in plain language.
Affiliate commissions
Some links on this site are affiliate links, including links to Amazon.in. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. You pay exactly the same price either way.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
What commissions do not do
They do not influence which products appear, what score a product receives, or the order of any ranking. Scores are computed from specifications before any commercial consideration, and no brand can pay to appear or to rank higher.
Where a cheaper or lower-commission product is the better buy, we say so. Several of our verdicts recommend the less expensive option.
Advertising
We may show display advertising in future. If we do, ads will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content and will never be presented as recommendations.
Future revenue
We plan to add a service that connects readers with solar installers for quotes. If and when that launches, the same rule applies: it will be disclosed on the page, and it will not affect any product ranking. Our full methodology explains how scores stay insulated from revenue.
