FAQ
Straight answers
Is a 5-star AC worth the extra cost?
It depends entirely on usage hours and your state tariff. At 8 hours a day in a high-tariff state the premium pays back in about 2 summers; at 3 hours a day it may never pay back. Our calculator gives your exact breakeven.
What size AC do I need for a 12x12 room?
Around 1 ton for a typical 144 sq ft room, moving to 1.5 ton if the room faces west, is on the top floor, or seats more than 3 people regularly.
